MAA TAKAFUL CELEBRATE OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT

KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 (Bernama) -- MAA Takaful continued its success in

developing the agency force and maintaining its position as the No.1 Agency

Company by celebrating its Agency Awards Night 2011 at the Sunway Resort Hotel &

Spa. The Agency Awards Night is dedicated to the Agency Force to recognize

outstanding achievements of Consultants of the MAA Takaful agency as key drivers

of the business. Boosting a total agency force of 8,000 Consultants, only the

most outstanding were recognized during the event.

MAA Takaful has garnered an impressive year in 2011 when they have ranked FIRST

in the Basic Investment Linked Regular Plan for New Business with a growth of

34.1% with its „Takafulink‟ product. The total production for the year 2011 was

a remarkable RM156.3 million for Family business. Over the years, MAA Takaful

has received numerous awards such as Malaysia Business Leadership Award 2010 -

Islamic Financial Services Sector, KLIFF Award for Most Outstanding Takaful

Product (MAA Takafulink) in 2009, 2010 & 2011 respectively, and the IDC

Financial Insights Awards for The Most Innovative Agency Portal or “iCMS”.

For the year 2012, MAA Takaful is set to achieve an overall family division

budget of RM210 million and launch 5 new family products that have been uniquely

designed to fit all Malaysians.

The most prestigious award during the Agency Awards Night was the Top of the

Table (TOT) and Court of the Table (COT). TOTs needed to hit a target of RM2,

345,400 and above, with a minimum of RM38, 000 First Year Commission (FYC) and

RM1, 172,700 - RM2, 345,399 for COTs. The night was celebrated with 58 awardees

running for the 3 main categories, consisting of Personal Producers category,

Agency Leaders category and the Champions category.
